We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at La Palma Correctional Center. As a dedicated nursing professional, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute Licensed Independent Providers orders and provide comprehensive nursing care to inmates/residents
- Dispense and administer medications as prescribed by physicians
- Assist Licensed Independent Providers in examinations and treatment of patients
- Apply nursing and supervisory techniques required in the care, treatment, and referrals of inmates/residents
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited college or university with a degree/diploma in nursing
- Current licensure in the state of employment
- One year of professional nursing experience preferred
- A valid driver's license is required
