Job Description
We are searching for a business architect that has experience in the following areas:
- Enterprise Architectures: designing integrated architectures for business, applications, data, and infrastructure that support large-scale change programs within organizations.
- Enterprise IT Strategy: designing business and IT strategy and policy, adaptive to the ever-changing technological developments and responding to the concrete business applications thereof.
- Transformation planning: building combined business and technology roadmaps that support the planning and execution of organization-wide transformations.
- Target Operating Models: including business capability modeling, process redesign and establishing effective business and architecture governance methodologies.
- Technical and Operational Resilience: analyzing end-to-end operations (people, process, technology) that help organizations protect their reputation and comply with regulations.
Task Duties include:
Provide expert advice, assistance, guidance and IT consulting in support of senior leadership
Review strategic plans, roadmaps and project plans to assess gaps and needs across the enterprise
Develop future plans based on gap analysis and create a transition plan
Develop business process models to demonstrate relationships and processes
Provide suggestions and draft new policies as required
Develop concept of operations to document enterprise standards
Support enterprise governance processes by making recommendations to the structure, policies and planning
Assist in Integrated Project Team (IPT) and working group establishment and coordination
Provide a Recommended Approach for Remedies
Provide executive briefings and updates
Provide recommendations for and updates to Processes, Procedures and Policies
Develop technical documentation and process flows, and prepare clear, accurate reports; Establish and maintain strong, effective working relationships.
Qualifications
Candidates must have the following:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree highly desired
Minimum 6 years experience in a business architect, business process re-engineering, business analyst role in a federal work environment.
Experience providing internal/external consulting services to management and technical staff in solving complex information issues.
Possess the ability to analyze complex activities, relationships and situations, identify problems, draw logical conclusions, and develop and defend independent recommendations;
- Knowledgeable in or capable of but not limited to the following: Requirements and workflow analysis; Facilitation and coordination of meetings; Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; Process Review, Analysis and Modeling; Customer Surveys and Interviews; and Gap Analysis and Studies.
- Familiar with the latest standards in Customer Experience platforms, Integration platforms, Rapid Application Development frameworks, Digital Marketing / Automation and/or Customer and Data Analytics, and Data Driven ways of working.
- Has a clear vision of future trends in digital / technology and their impact on organizations.
- Skill to create, review and bring together end-to-end architecture within one or more business, application, data and infrastructure architecture domains, experience in designing and defining IT strategy and business architecture
- Experience working with experienced client teams to quickly diagnose issues and develop, design and deliver solutions to address complex and challenging issues.
- Able to develop and provide a vision on projects, work streams and deliverables based on your expertise and translate this vision into concrete actions.
- Proven experience as an Enterprise, Domain and/or Solution Architect.
- Experience in modeling business processes.
- Experience as a Scrum Master.
- Above average presentation, negotiation and influencing skills, able to take the lead in organizational change, organizational sensitivity and bridge builder.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
