Concrete Foreman/Highway Supervisor

Bonus potential up to 10 - 15% of annual salary

Job description:

• Supervises all activities of a construction project which includes:
• Develops a schedule and plan for completion of an assigned project.
• Collaborates with other staff to create preconstruction estimates and budgets for materials and labor.
• Coordinates and schedules work activities of foremen and crew.
• Regularly inspects work for quality and timeliness; provides progress reports to upper management; makes recommendations for necessary modifications.
• Collaborates with engineers, city inspectors and other stakeholders to ensure specifications and other regulations are met.
• Ensures applicable specifications and regulations are followed.
• Monitors budget throughout the project and communicates variances as they occur.
• Ensures a safe worksite and that all proper safety procedures are followed.
• Must be able to travel overnight during the week and work weekends as needed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be able to lead a team with a diverse group of people.
• Possess strong judgement and decision-making skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills must be fluent in English due to contract requirements.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and plans.
• Ability to quickly identify problems and efficiently solve them.
• Be able to use applicable software programs.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must have 5-year construction experience.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

• Road construction - concrete: 5 years (Preferred)

• Highway/Road Construction: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:
