What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Maintenance Coordinator position at Virtual-hire?
Summary:
Field breakdown calls for company equipment, create/document breakdown events, dispatch service providers out to repair equipment, process invoices for payment to providers. Inspect in bound equipment for defects and potential DOT write ups.
Major Duties:
· Provide emergency roadside assistance to customers during the shift.
· Receive in-bound calls from our customers and diagnose mechanical issues.
· Act as a liaison between the servicing location and the customer.
· Demonstrate excellent phone and customer service skills to interact with internal and external customers.
· Disperse payment to servicing locations following company policies in the process.
· Inspecting equipment to include Semi Tractors and Semi-Trailers for defects.
Job Requirements/Work Area Conditions:
Education: HS Diploma/ GED, and vocational training preferred.
Certifications: Must hold a Regular Operator (Class D) driving license
Experience: 1-2 years
Type of Experience: Semi Tractors and Semi-Trailers, equipment.
