Job Description:
- We are searching for a creative team member with experience and interest in site engineering for commercial, multi-family, healthcare, university higher education, industrial projects and single family project types.
- The style or format of the project that this person will manage are generally building parking lots and associated utilities and storm water management.
- Most of the projects are led by an Architect and follow the SD, DD CD Permitting and Construction Observation project delivery.
- Responsible for management of scope of work, staff, budget, schedule & maintaining control of project through project completion to ensure project is completed within budget & schedule.
- Ensures that all work under his/her responsibility provides the intended design function expected by the client, is a creative/innovative design solution, & is technically correct, & complies with all applicable codes, ordinances & regulations.
- Responsibility for client management & retention as well as promotion of positive, efficient, communication & instruction with staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience in site engineering design for Commercial, Higher Education, Healthcare, Residential, and Industrial projects.
- Proficiency in the design and production of site construction drawings including site layout, erosion control, grading, storm drainage, stormwater management SCM’s and utility plans.
- Understanding and proficiency in performing hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design associated with storm drainage, stormwater management and water distribution systems.
- Good critical thinking skills for analyzing and solving engineering problems.
- Ability to research and apply Municipal, County & State zoning ordinance and design standards and requirements.
- Experience in permitting at the Municipal, County & State levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related degree.
- Project Engineer position requires a PE License.
- Excellent written & communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and the willingness to learn and adapt to Company design and drawing standards.
- Software Proficiency: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydrology Studio, Newforma, EPANet 2.2 & Microsoft Excel is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
