This position has development and maintenance responsibility for a broad variety of software applications that support the Investments Operations and Enterprise Data Management groups.& Focus will be on the software programs, databases, and processes associated with the ingestion, mastering, and delivery of Position and Transaction data vital to the firm’s business.&

The Engineer will work closely with other IT team members of varying disciplines and our internal business partners to meet stated objectives.& The ideal candidate would have experience with full-stack software development, financial systems, and prior experience working in an asset management firm with hands-on experience in investment operations and portfolio accounting data.

The successful candidate is a motivated self-starter with an aptitude for learning new skills and environments quickly while multi-tasking on multiple deliverables.

Our client supports a hybrid work environment, with employees on-site in the Boston office 3 days a week.

• Individual contributor with some level of proven leadership&
• Work on& an agile& delivery team to enhance and support software& applications as well as create new ones&
• Perform code& reviews& and& approvals&
• Multi-tasks, capable of balancing several highly visible issues&
• Serves& as& the subject matter& expert& on& one or more& applications / platforms &
• Understands& multiple& business workflows and identify opportunities to advance capabilities, gain efficiencies, reduce risk& &
• This person may have a specialized skillset or role
• Work with investment middle office data and the processing of that data including portfolio accounting and transaction data
• Build, enhance and maintain custom data interfaces and full stack applications& using cloud-native technologies
• Some on-call support responsibilities
