Responsibilities
Plan, lead and execute assurance engagements (compilations, reviews and audits)
Analyze and assess financial statements and internal controls
Identify areas of risk and recommend improvements
Supervise, train and mentor junior team members providing them with constructive feedback
Handle and prepare complex transactions and work with clients on technical matters
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, standards and practices (technical knowledge of GAAP and GAAS)
Foster client relationships to ensure information is gathered, and matters are resolved within a timely and effective manner
Perform other job-related duties as necessary
Qualifications

Strong candidates for this position should be motivated, reliable and possess:
At least three years’ prior experience in public accounting, CPA a plus
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex information
Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
Ability to handle sensitive/confidential matters in a tactful and discreet manner
Strong inter-personal skills, including the capability to effectively present information and respond to clients’ needs
