Senior Virtual Production Developer The Third Floor

The Third Floor is looking for an experienced Senior Virtual Production Developer. This will be a Full-Time, Hybrid Role in on-set and remote virtual production support. The on-set support responsibilities include delivering tools and workflows for complex technical shoots including technical previs, techvis, virtual camera and other on-set support to clients and other film units. When not on set, the VP Developer will design and develop Virtual Production tools.

Responsibilities

• Occasionally support on-set or remote studio sessions with clients, including Motion Capture and Virtual Camera shoots, including operation of Virtual Camera.
• Drive the planning and development of production tools.
• Develop plugins or extensions of existing pipeline functionality for virtual production.
• Support the Visualization teams with exporting Art Content (Environments, Props, Animations) from Maya into Unreal Engine.
• Work with the art team to ensure in-engine levels are Real-time ready.
• Collaborate with creating workflows and tools to accelerate production.
• Create and debug shader and materials graphs throughout production.
