Opportunity:
Virtual Service Operations is searching for a highly motivated and career-driven individual to join our growing team as Datacenter Technician in Sterling, Virginia. In this role, you will be a part of our growing relationship with one of our great clients and have responsibilities as an onsite resource such as:
- Taking delivery of new equipment arriving at Datacenter.
- Unpack, inventory and assist with the racking and stacking of equipment for a specific build out/project.
Qualifications:
- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience troubleshooting datacenter equipment and tools.
- Must be able to install hardware and cables.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Experience troubleshooting in various console environments.
- Experience using Visio a plus but not mandatory.
Requirements
- Must be within driving distance of Sterling, Virginia, and willing to work onsite
- Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to walk up and down stairs or ramps
- Must be able to kneel and work under desks or in confined spaces
- Must be able to get up and down a ladder to manage overhead cables
