Compensation Range: $85k - $100k base commission (targeting $160 - $200k total comp)

Job Overview:
The Channel Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key channel partners, driving revenue growth through the channel, and ensuring partner success. This role requires strong relationship-building, communication, and sales skills, as well as a deep understanding of the channel sales ecosystem.
Responsibilities/Job Functions:
Recruit Partner Channels & Onboarding:
Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners that align with VTG's business objectives.
Develop and implement partner recruitment strategies, including market research and competitive analysis.
Conduct partner assessments and qualification processes.
Guide new partners through the onboarding process, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training.
Partner Development & Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at partner organizations.
Develop and execute joint go-to-market plans with channel partners.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to partners, including sales training, technical enablement, and marketing support.
Monitor partner performance, track key metrics, and provide regular performance reviews.
Resolve partner issues and address any concerns promptly and effectively.
Channel Sales Growth:
Drive revenue growth through the channel by setting and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Motivate and incentivize partners to achieve sales goals.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to support channel sales efforts.
Track and analyze channel sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
Program Management:
Manage channel programs, including partner incentives, rebates, and marketing funds.
Develop and maintain channel partner portals and other relevant resources.
Ensure compliance with all channel partner agreements and policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
3 years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or a related field within the IT industry.
Strong understanding of the channel sales ecosystem and best practices.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other relevant sales tools.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with channel partner recruitment and onboarding.
Experience with managing channel programs and incentives.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ChannelPro, CompTIA)
