Our client, a leader in their industry, has a great career opportunity for a strong Financial Controller out of manufacturing. The Financial Controller is responsible for all accounting operations and financial reporting. Experience with foreign entities is a must. The leadership team is one of teamwork and collaboration. This is a hybrid role located near Rocky Hill, Ct.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversight of all accounting departments, ensuring adherence to deadlines, compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Analyze financial data to present to leadership, lead the charge in timeliness and proactive communication
- Strong understanding of Revenue Recognition, Lease accounting, Investments and Goodwill.
- Experience with multi entity and the consolidation process.
- Maintain internal controls for cost, receipt of revenue, fixed Assets, Inventory and Capital budgets.
- Ability to work cross functionally and manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of SAP is preferred
