The Technology Director serves as the key member of a small technical team and reports directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities Include the Following :
The Technology Director is responsible for designing and developing comprehensive information systems that align business needs by analyzing requirements, selecting and utilizing appropriate technologies, maintaining efficient information flow data utilization, and ensuring overall viability of enterprise systems.
This includes cultivating strong internal relationships and being the primary contact for vendors such as CRM and MSP partners.
Key responsibilities :
Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with the C-Level, Board of Directors, other stakeholders to understand business objectives, identify information needs, and gather detailed requirements for data systems and applications.
Enterprise Systems Operability : Oversee internal technology resources and external MSP, data, and application partners to ensure system viability, data oversight, and timely issue resolution.
Technology Evaluation : Assess and recommend appropriate data management technologies such as programs, platforms, applications and data integration tools based on performance, scalability, and cost considerations.
Data Modeling : Develop logical and physical data models to help educate leadership on the best pathways for quality standards.
System Integration : Design and implement data integration strategies to seamlessly connect disparate systems and ensure data consistency.
Security and Compliance : Incorporate security measures and compliance requirements into the information architecture to protect sensitive information.
Performance Optimization : Monitor and optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
