What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grant Accountant position at Virtual?
Monitor, analyze and maintain financial transactions and accounting for a wide variety of social service programs funded by Federal, state and local grants and allocations.
Work closely with department staff, Treasurer’s and Auditor’s Office personnel, and Federal, state and local governmental agencies.
Provide information to finance staff as necessary to assist in month end close activities
Responsible for the invoicing and reconciliation processes related to funding drawdowns from external, federal, and state agencies.
Responsible for the monitoring of grant activity including cost overruns, cost sharing and unallowable administrative expenses.
