Vaco Staffing is seeking a Medical Denials Specialist for a contract to hire position!
This position will be on site for 6 months for training and then is remote!
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance billing and denial management. The Medical Denials Specialist will be responsible for reviewing denied claims, identifying the root causes of denials, and implementing strategies to prevent future denials.
Job Responsibilities :
- Review denied claims and determine the reason for denial.
- Research and investigate denied claims to identify patterns and trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including billing, coding, and clinical staff, to gather additional information needed to appeal denials.
- Prepare and submit appeals to insurance companies, including supporting documentation and medical records.
- Track the status of appeals and follow up with insurance companies as needed.
