We are seeking an experienced Mulesoft Developer with EDI experience to provide part-time support for a dynamic apparel company.
Technical Skills and Expertise
MuleSoft Expertise : Hands-on experience in designing, building, and deploying MuleSoft integrations, including AnyPoint Platform proficiency.
- EDI Standards Knowledge : Comprehensive understanding of EDI standards such as X12, EDIFACT, and Tradacoms, with a focus on transaction sets like purchase orders (850), invoices (810), and shipping notices (856).
- API Development and Management : Strong capability to create and manage APIs for seamless communication between systems, including RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Data Transformation : Experience in handling data mapping and transformations, including XML, JSON, and flat file formats for EDI transactions.
- Integration Experience : Proven track record of integrating EDI workflows with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify or Magento).
- Error Handling : Ability to implement robust error handling and reconciliation processes for EDI transactions.
- EDI Workflow Design : Ability to analyze and optimize end-to-end EDI workflows, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in order processing, invoicing, and shipping.
- Scalability Focus : Expertise in designing scalable MuleSoft integrations to support growing transaction volumes and evolving business requirements.
- Compliance Knowledge : Familiarity with regulatory requirements for EDI, such as HIPAA for healthcare transactions or CCPA for data privacy.
- Vendor Coordination : Ability to liaise with trading partners and EDI VAN providers to resolve issues and ensure seamless data exchange.
- Documentation and Training : Capability to document integration workflows and provide training to internal teams for ongoing support and troubleshooting.
