Job Summary :
The Product Implementation Coordinator is responsible for the build, test, and release of new travel insurance products, modification, and issue resolution of existing products and product-related projects such as regulatory conversions and / or insurer-related changes such as mergers, entity changes or domestication.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
Coordinate the product roadmap per management priorities;
Escalate prioritization conflicts as needed with a clear needs analysis and proposal for resolving the conflictExecution (Build, Test, Release)Direct the day-to-day product implementation activities
Animate the daily product administration stand-upAnimate the daily scrumEnsure clear understanding and alignment of tasks / priorities across the entire product teamMaintenanceCoordinate regular maintenance of products as needed
Ensure timely troubleshooting of reported bugs in productionEnsure accurate root-cause-analysis of all bugs with a focus on trends and the required actions to avoid repeat errors and a long-term focus on continuous improvementMaintain a product sunset list and drive the commercial department to actively move partners away from sunset products and onto active products.Performance ManagementEnsure Jira tickets are kept in good order with data to serve analytical reporting
Creation of KPI reporting for use in steering the teamCreation of management dashboards relative to product pipeline, throughput and team performanceContinuous ImprovementMaintain a constant feedback loop on the product implementation process, logging all key insights
Conduct monthly and quarterly lessons learnedIdentify initiatives for continuous improvement and drive them to completionRequired / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills :
2-3 years insurance industry experienceExperience with project management with proven track record of working successfully with multiple departmentsProfessional experience with JiraExcellent presentation skills and slideware capabilitiesEducation / Certifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required
