What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical Business Analyst position at Virtual?
Vaco is on the search for two key roles that will support modernization efforts with a Scottsdale based client. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of the company’s Oracle implementation. As a Technical Business Analyst, you will collaborate with functional areas to ensure the modernization program is executed and achieves company goals while maintaining focus on process and controls. These roles require previous experience supporting Oracle environments, specifically within the AR modules. You will be working with business stakeholders to create requirements and engaging with testing teams for UAT documentation. As the liaison between the business and IT department, you will ensure that the scope of work requested to enhance or modify existing application processes are clearly documented, communicated, and validated. We are looking to schedule client interviews the week of February 10th for qualified candidates as this is an urgent need with our client. This role will be 2-3 days in office in N. Core Responsibilities & Requirements
- 5 years as a Technical Business Analyst with strong preference to experience with Oracle environments.
- Acts as a liaison with stakeholders to analyze the needs of various functional business areas while enhancing software and reinforcing business standards.
- Strong experience with Oracle Cloud environments (AR modules required)
- Creates detailed documentation of functional, system (non-functional), user and reporting requirements that may include but is not limited to : Use Cases, Logical Models, Process Flow Diagrams, Report Specifications and Data Mapping & Flow Diagrams.
- Strong background working with external implementation partners.
- Previous support and engagement with testing teams for UAT planning and execution.
- Performs research and analysis for proposed projects to determine feasibility and durability.
- Performs profiling and analysis of data from source systems.
- Ensures that solution requirements area clearly documented, communicated, and validated.
- Provides support to functional and user acceptance testing groups throughout development life cycle.
- Assists with the creation of value proposition (ROI) for proposed projects.
- Helps the team to define and control scope for development initiatives and release schedule.
- Works jointly with other IT Managers to create detailed work plans for software development and enhancement projects.
- Responsible for status reporting, knowledge transfer and implementation plans as appropriate for the software solution being developed.
- Builds and maintains relationships with software application vendors and implementation partners.
- Instructs, directs, guides, and checks the work of Business Analysts.
- Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
- Experience using Structured Query Language (SQL) for data analysis.
