Job Title : Field Service Technician
Location : Lexington, NC
ROLE DESCRIPTION :
We are looking for Field Service Technicians. The Field Service technicians are responsible for completing service tickets in a designated territory. Preferred candidate background experience
includes Plumbing, Pipe Replacement, Toilet / Urinal Installation, Soldering, General Maintenance, HVAC, Framing, Drywall Patching, Painting, Flooring Installation, Tile Work, Doors& Frames, Experience with a Multimeter, Etc. These are effectively general maintenance positions, but the expectation is that candidates have a broad set of skillsets. Candidates need to have proficient computer (Microsoft 360) and mobile phone skills (Preferably iOS and Android).
What you will do in this role :
- Ensure that changes and problems get documented and communicated.
- Carry out assigned tasks and work orders with minimum direct supervision.
- Communicate with the office team and FOMs on open issues and progress of work assigned to oneself
- Successful execution of assigned programs / work orders as they relate to cost, quality, timing and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area.
- Effectively document and communicate work required and executed out in the field.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including on-call availability.
Additional information :
Schedule : Normal service availability hours are 7 : 00am-6 : 00pm, before or after that is paid out at a 20% premium. There is rotational on-call. Vehicle : The company does not provide work trucksthey do provide $0.50 / mile reimbursement. Need to have their own reliable form of transportation.
