Oracle Cloud Solutions Engineer

Job Summary:
- Design, deploy, and manage Oracle Cloud infrastructure components, including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database services.
- Implement and maintain high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability solutions on the Oracle Cloud platform.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline provisioning, configuration, and monitoring processes.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with application development teams to architect solutions that leverage Oracle Cloud services effectively
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices related to Oracle Cloud offerings.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams and clients on Oracle Cloud architecture and implementation.
Skills:
- 5 years’ Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud infrastructure solutions.
- 10 years’ experience of DevSecOps/Platform Engineering.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud services, including Compute, Networking, Storage, and Database offerings.
- Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, on Oracle Cloud.
- Proficient authoring scripts in one or more programming languages. (e.g. Python, PowerShell, Ruby, Terraform, YAML)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
