Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and Virtus Academy’s curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and guide instruction.
- Establish and maintain effective classroom management strategies.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices to enhance student learning.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Virtus Academy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (required).
- Valid teaching certification in Elementary Education (or ability to obtain one).
- Prior teaching experience in elementary grades preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and instructional best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
