Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Music Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both music theory and performance, along with the ability to teach and inspire students of all ages. As a music teacher at Virtus Academy, you will play a key role in fostering a love for music, developing students' musical abilities, and providing an engaging, interactive classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach music classes to students in grades K-12, including vocal and instrumental instruction.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and encouraged.
- Organize and lead school music performances, including concerts, recitals, and other musical events.
- Encourage students to explore and experiment with various musical genres, instruments, and techniques.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate music into cross-curricular learning.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Foster a strong sense of teamwork and creativity within the music program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching music in K-12 education (at least 2 years preferred).
- Strong proficiency in both vocal and instrumental music (piano, guitar, or strings a plus).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.

Pay: $44,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
