Job Summary:
The Certified Surgical Technologist, CVOR will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of cardiovascular surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room for cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile and safe environment.
- Set up and maintain surgical equipment and instruments, ensuring proper sterilization and functionality.
- Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures, passing instruments, anticipating needs, and maintaining the sterile field.
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide support as needed.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, maintaining a high standard of patient care and safety.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
- Certification: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
- Experience: 2 or more years of recent CVOR Surgical Technologist experience in an acute care setting.
- Licensure: Current BLS Certification.
Schedule:
- Full-time, Day Shift
- Monday - Friday, 6:15 AM to 2:45 PM
- Rotating on-call weeknights and weekends
