Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our partner Health Center in Baltimore, MD. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients by helping them improve their physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being through personalized therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities, limitations, and functional needs.
• Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and address the unique needs of each patient.
• Therapy Implementation: Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including exercise programs, manual therapy, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, ultrasound), to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and overall function.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment plan, and home exercise programs to promote self-management and prevent future injuries.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred.
• Licensure: Current Maryland Physical Therapist License.
• Certification: American Heart Association CPR Certification.
