Physician - Adult Medicine
Location: Hartford, CT
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Adult Medicine to join our partner health group in Hartford, CT. This is a full-time opportunity for a board-certified physician to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in a dynamic and fulfilling environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients in an outpatient setting.
- Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle counseling.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Provide patient education on chronic disease management, preventive care, and health promotion.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to established guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the Adult Medicine department.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine and possess Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases.
- Possess a valid State of Connecticut licensure and have or be eligible to obtain DEA and state narcotic registration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience working in an ambulatory setting or providing urgent care.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
