Join the Virtus Healthcare Staffing Team! We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced CVICU RN to join our partner, a healthcare facility in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

Job Summary

As a CVICU RN, you will play a crucial role in providing critical care to patients with complex cardiac conditions. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and intervening in emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill cardiac patients.
• Monitor patient's condition and vital signs closely.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Perform complex procedures, such as invasive hemodynamic monitoring and arterial line insertion.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Educate patients and families about their condition and treatment plan.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of recent CVICU acute care RN experience
• Florida RN license or ability to obtain
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
• BSN (preferred)
• CCRN certification (preferred, must be obtained within 2 years)
• NIHSS stroke certification (required within 30 days of hire)
  
  

Shift Preference: Nights Only (7p-7a)

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
