Responsibilities
- Deliver swift and efficient care to patients of all ages experiencing various medical emergencies.
- Perform comprehensive triage assessments, initiate appropriate interventions, and closely monitor patient responses.
- As needed, administer medications and treatments, including emergency procedures and life-saving interventions.
- Collaborate seamlessly with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families during stressful situations.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in emergency nursing practice and actively participate in professional development activities.
- Must-haves:
- Associate of Science Degree in Nursing
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse Licensure
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- Current ACLS certification for Healthcare Providers (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Current PALS certification for Healthcare Providers (or obtain within 1 year of hire)
- Nice-to-haves:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- Three years of current Emergency Room RN experience in an Acute Care setting
- Trauma experience, including current TNCC certification
- Pediatric experience, including current ENPC certification
- Current NIHSS Certification
- Sign-on Bonus: $20,000 lump sum, paid within 30 days of start, with a two-year commitment
