Data Governance and MDM Architect
15 years of experience in data governance, MDM, data architecture, with at least 5 years in a architectural role.
- Strong experience in implementing and managing MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, SAP MDG, or similar tools.
- Proven experience with data governance frameworks and tools like Collibra, Alatian etc. and metadata management, and data quality tools.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and data security best practices.
- Good understanding of modern data ecosystems and data architectures like Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Vaults, Data Lakehouses etc.
- Expertise in defining overall Data Governance and MDM Strategy, architecture and roadmap. Being able to include master data management and data governance as part of the overall enterprise data architecture and communicating the value of Data Governance to diverse stakeholders.
- Solid experience with relevant hands-on skills in at least 4 of the following areas - Metadata Management, Data Quality, Data Standardization, Data Policies and Security, Data Archival, DataOps, Unstructured Data Management.
- Good experience in Data Governance using cloud native solutions like GCP DataPlex, AWS DataZone, Azure Purview, Databricks Unity Catalog etc. Certifications in one or multiple technologies and / or TOGAF will be a real plus.
- Experience in Pre-sales support including responding to RFPs / proactive proposals / PoVs in providing solution approach, technical solution architecture, estimations, defining project implementation timelines, Risk & Mitigations, Best practices with strong client facing and presentation skills. Taking the lead role in strategic pursuits and proposals.
