Job Description
The Director – VAS Channel Partner Enablement will be at the forefront of building an enablement function to empower and grow our VAS channel partnerships globally. This role involves driving the programmatic setup of the global channel partnerships function and supporting the creation of a VAS-wide channel partner strategy in a high-growth area for Visa.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working laterally across a wide range of stakeholders in product, GTM, operations, support and others to scope needs, fine-tune priorities, and craft globally scalable enablement tools. The position requires demonstrable experience thinking and working at a global scale in a complex environment.
The Director will design and build systems, tools, and processes to enable channel partnerships, build systematic frameworks to identify top opportunities, and design and build key enablement frameworks and playbooks to accelerate channel sales.
The position requires an experienced professional with a broad, well-rounded set of skills, particularly in the setup and running of programmatic operational functions. The target candidate will have a high level of energy, flexibility, and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex and often ambiguous environment as part of a newly established team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build a partner enablement framework to empower and grow VAS channel partnerships.
Drive the programmatic setup of the global channel partnerships enablement function.
Support the creation of a VAS-wide Channel Partner strategy.
Engage with stakeholders in product, GTM, operations, enablement, and more to identify and understand blockers to channel selling, and design solutions to unblock
Build a comprehensive enablement toolkit and supporting infrastructure to accelerate channel partner engagement.
Design and build systems, tools, and processes to enable channel partnerships.
Conduct market and opportunity analysis to identify top opportunities.
Design and build a product resell readiness framework and assessment of VAS products to create a resell-ready product catalogue.
Drive growth for Visa by accelerating channel opportunities.
Support the creation of partner playbooks to target key priority markets

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6 years of work experience with a PhD
• Experience building operational programs in large scale organizations
• Able to build relationships and gain exposure to internal and external client leadership teams through demonstrating key domain expertise.
• You have prior experience in the design and build systems, tools, and processes to enable channel partnerships.
• Prior experience in conduct market and opportunity analysis to identify top opportunities.
• You have a demonstrated track record in the product resell readiness and establishing new partnerships
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 145,400 to 210,800 per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
