Position Summary: Vista Innovative Solutions is seeking an experienced AI Architect to lead our artificial intelligence and mixed reality initiatives. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and oversee AI-driven solutions and mixed reality projects, leveraging technologies such as NVIDIA Omniverse, Unity, Apple Vision Pro, Meta, and advanced cloud infrastructures (AWS/Azure/GCP). The candidate will also drive innovation, facilitate technical teams, and interact closely with cross-functional stakeholders. What You'll Do: Architect, design, and deploy advanced AI systems, mixed reality applications, and digital twin solutions across various industries including retail, education, defense, and public services. Provide leadership in AI-driven content creation, immersive storytelling, spatial computing, and digital transformation projects. Lead cross-functional teams of developers, engineers, and creative talent to deliver projects efficiently and effectively. Manage relationships and strategic partnerships with technology vendors and service providers (e.g., NVIDIA, Dell, Unity, Apple, Meta). Develop technical roadmaps, documentation, and training materials to guide teams and stakeholders through complex technical projects. Implement and maintain best practices in cybersecurity, compliance, and cloud computing to ensure system reliability, security, and scalability. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and integrate innovative solutions that align with company goals and market demands. Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines Secure resources and manage cross-functional teams consisting of data scientists, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders Monitor project progress and identify and address potential roadblocks Ensured projects met quality standards and delivered expected business value Clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Effectively present project updates and results to leadership and team members Develop and manage program plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with individual projects Ensure that related data assets and models are discoverable and reusable for multiple projects Develop and maintain program documentation for data science, AI, and governance processes Manage and optimize AI infrastructure and resources (although the technical development team generally leads this) Recruit and hire new talent for the AI/ML team (although a functional manager tends to be responsible for this) Manage external vendors and partners involved in program execution (or coordinate with the purchasing department) Conduct program audits and assessments (or coordinate with an internal governance department) Participate in industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on best practices (common) What You Bring: 15 years of professional experience in technology leadership roles with significant experience as an AI or IoT Architect. Deep technical expertise in AI technologies, Mixed Reality (AR/VR/XR), Spatial Computing, and Digital Twins (e.g., NVIDIA Omniverse, Unity, Apple Vision Pro, Meta). Proven experience managing complex global technology deployments and live field productions. Background in network engineering, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), and cybersecurity. Demonstrated experience in developing strategic partnerships and handling vendor relations. Strong understanding of VMware, VDI solutions, fiber optics, and wireless technology deployment. Exceptional problem-solving, strategic planning, and leadership skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
