Job Summary: As a Host at Visconti's, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Your primary responsibility is to ensure a welcoming and smooth flow of guests into the restaurant, managing reservations, and providing excellent customer service. You will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience by greeting guests, managing waitlists, and coordinating seating arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:· Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.· Manage reservations using our reservation system.· Maintain an organized and clean host area.· Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.· Communicate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure timely seating and service.· Answer phone calls and provide accurate information about the restaurant and its offerings.· Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and tact.· Assist with special requests and accommodate guests with disabilities.· Maintain a knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and restaurant events.· Uphold Visconti's standards of service and hospitality.
Qualifications:· Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.· Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.· Proficiency with reservation and point-of-sale systems is a plus.· Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.· Positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing excellent customer service.
