What are the responsibilities and job description for the Investment Operations Specialist position at Vise?
Vise, a technology driven Investment Advisor is seeking an experienced Investment Operations Specialist to join our Investment Strategy Team. In this role, you will be an indispensable resource at the operational center of the Vise investment process. You will apply your financial services experience to learn and understand Vise established internal workflows and offer an entrepreneurial and problem-solving mindset to implement and improve the Vise middle and back office investment processes. This role is onsite in NYC in our SoHo office.
What you bring on day one
- Minimum of two to four years of experience in a financial services operations role
- Experience working in middle and back office operations supporting SMAs for clients of registered investment advisors (RIAs) and / or broker-dealers
- Experience as a Portfolio Administrator and / or Performance Analyst
- Familiar with RIA custodian platforms such as Schwab and Fidelity
- Experience with portfolio accounting and reporting systems, such as Advent Portfolio Exchange (APX) Proficient in Google Workspace, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint tools - Python and SQL a plus
