Position : Sr. Android Developer
Location : Overland Park KS (Day 1 onsite)
Duration : 12 Months
Interview Mode : Video
NOTE : All interviews (internal / client) will be in-person in any offices (Atlanta, GA or Frisco / Dallas, TX or Overland Park, KS)
Required Key Skills :
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Android development
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK and different versions of Android
- Good experience in the following : Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, background operations in Android apps, Jetpack Compose, Work Manager, Job Scheduler, RxJava, Services, Foreground Services, Retrofit, Dagger DI, Room Database Library, Git
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android apps to back-end services
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices
- Experience with offline storage, threading and performance tuning
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Familiarity with cloud (Azure) and push notifications
- Nice to have : Headless app development experience
