Responsibilities
The QA Technician will be responsible for overseeing all quality aspects of our Production Department, including:
- Performing thorough incoming and in-process inspection of machined parts, purchased components, and assemblies using precision measurement equipment
- Managing quality documentation systems and maintaining detailed quality records and equipment calibration logs
- Conducting quality reporting, root cause analysis, and developing effective corrective actions
- Collaborating with the Engineering team to enhance product design and improve manufacturability
- Participating in and supporting Certifying Bodies (TUV) on-site inspections
- Ensuring compliance with quality management systems and industry standards
- Associate's Degree in Advanced Manufacturing Technology or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing quality control
- Proficiency with coordinate measuring machines and quality inspection equipment
- Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Working knowledge of machine shop operations and basic electrical systems
- Experience with quality management systems and related documentation
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds
- Visual acuity required for detailed inspection work
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with strong initiative
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Patience and persistence in troubleshooting quality issues
- Assertive yet diplomatic approach to quality enforcement

- Salary range: $60,000 to $70,000 per hour
