QA Inspection Technician

We are seeking a team player to join our team as a QA Technician!

This is an onsite role in Poestenkill, NY!

Responsibilities

The QA Technician will be responsible for overseeing all quality aspects of our Production Department, including:

• Performing thorough incoming and in-process inspection of machined parts, purchased components, and assemblies using precision measurement equipment
• Managing quality documentation systems and maintaining detailed quality records and equipment calibration logs
• Conducting quality reporting, root cause analysis, and developing effective corrective actions
• Collaborating with the Engineering team to enhance product design and improve manufacturability
• Participating in and supporting Certifying Bodies (TUV) on-site inspections
• Ensuring compliance with quality management systems and industry standards
  
  

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Advanced Manufacturing Technology or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing quality control
• Proficiency with coordinate measuring machines and quality inspection equipment
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Working knowledge of machine shop operations and basic electrical systems
• Experience with quality management systems and related documentation
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds
• Visual acuity required for detailed inspection work

• Salary range: $60,000 to $70,000 per hour

The estimated salary range allows for candidates with various levels of skills and experience to be considered, as well as provides room for growth achieved within the role over time.
