VPG is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Senior Financial Analyst who supports our General Ledger accounting functions to join our DSI team.
This is an onsite role in Poestenkill, NY!
Requirements
Manage and compile SOX documentation and ensure compliance with financial controls
Compile financial statements, analysis of financial data, forecasting and budgeting
Prepare and maintain product cost data
Report on quantities, valuation, sales and usage of inventory
Responsible for evaluating and implementing internal controls that are necessary to ensure that all company assets and records are properly recorded
Management of month end close process
Compile and prepare reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
Maintain and mange general ledger, sub-ledgers such as AP, AR and fixed assets, accruals, pre-paid, bank accounts and any other necessary accounting data
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics or business management. MBA, CPA, CMA preferred, but not required
5-10 years related financial and cost accounting and ERP systems experience.
Advance knowledge of accounting systems, MS Office.
Ability to work under time pressure and comply with deadlines.

- Base Salary: $80,000 - $85,000
