In this position, you'll be responsible for ensuring product quality throughout our manufacturing process while working closely with our production and engineering teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive incoming and in-process inspection of machined parts, purchased components, and assemblies using advanced measurement techniquesMaintain and organize quality documentation and records while ensuring proper equipment calibrationLead quality reporting initiatives, conduct root cause analysis, and determine corrective actionsCollaborate with the Engineering department to enhance product design and manufacturabilityParticipate in Certifying Bodies on-site inspections (TUV) as an active team memberDrive continuous improvement in quality processes and proceduresQualificationsAssociate's Degree in Advanced Manufacturing Technology or related field3-5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environmentProficiency with coordinate measuring machines and quality systems documentationStrong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Working knowledge of machine shop operations and electrical systemsExperience with quality management systems and related documentationThe Ideal Candidate Will HaveStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProven ability to work well under pressureInitiative to identify and solve problems proactivelyDedication to following established procedures and schedulesBenefits : Competitive salary ($60,000 - $70,000 annually)Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability, and flexible spending accounts401(k) plan with employer matchPaid time off and holidaysWhy VPG?Join a company that's at the forefront of precision technology, working on solutions that impact industries from aerospace to healthcare.
