VPG is seeking a Technical Inside Sales Representative who is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing and expanding relationships with existing customers, generating sales quotations, and qualifying leads.
This position will:
- Manage existing customer relationships, expand product/application sales, and achieve year-over-year revenue growth.
- Generate and manage accurate sales quotations, conduct contract reviews, and support order processing.
- Qualify leads, create new sales opportunities, and transfer qualified leads to external sales.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, provide excellent customer service, and resolve customer issues effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams, communicate product/sales information, and maintain accurate customer data in CRM/QAD.
- Achieve increased quotation conversion rates and generate sales opportunities through proactive sales activities.
- Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
- 1- 2 years of experience in a similar technical inside sales, support, or telemarketing role within a B2B manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Preferred knowledge of Strain Gage Technology and Data Acquisition Systems
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction via telephone, email, and occasional face-to-face meetings.
- Possesses above-average numeracy, literacy, and IT skills, with particular proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Proven ability to work effectively as a team player, prioritize tasks, and maintain excellent attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to embrace new challenges and thrive in a demanding environment.
