Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay-Ametherm is currently seeking applicants for a Process Technician. As a Process Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and controlling process parameters, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and implementing process improvements.

Job Location:

The ideal candidate will be working on-site in the state of Nevada, USA in Carson City. Carson City is the state capital and is just a quick 30 minutes from the beautiful Lake Tahoe and 30 minutes away from The Biggest Little City, Reno.

What You Will Be Doing

• Monitor key process parameters, such as temperature, pressure, flow rates, and quality metrics.
• Identify deviations from established standards and take corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze process data to identify trends and potential issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and calibration.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Identify and implement preventive maintenance procedures to improve equipment reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify opportunities for process optimization.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Participate in root cause analysis to resolve recurring issues.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections and tests to verify product conformance.
• Document and report quality issues and corrective actions.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Identify and report safety hazards.
• Participate in safety training and drills.
  
  

What You Will Bring Along

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification or Associate's degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or process engineering) preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Proficiency in using measurement instruments and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  

Pay Rate: $20-$23 per hour depending on experience.
