Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay-Ametherm is currently seeking applicants for a Maintenance Technician. As Maintenance Technician, you will work with machinery, equipment and tools to keep them in good working order

What you will be doing:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and calibration.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Identify and implement preventive maintenance procedures to improve equipment reliability.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Identify and report safety hazards.
• Participate in safety training and drills.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of equipment
• Assist with general housekeeping and maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Use basic electronic skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment
• Handle miscellaneous duties throughout the plant as needed

What you will bring along:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification or Associate's degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or process engineering) preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Proficiency in using measurement instruments and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Entry-level position—training will be providedBasic electronic skills and a willingness to learn more
• Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment

Pay Rate: $18-$21 per hour depending on experience.
