Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Production Supervisor 1st shift. Responsible the orientation, training, discipline, and work performance of individual operators and the maintenance of a high-level production and quality within the department.

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.
What you will be doing:
Directly supervise the daily activities of operators and production-specific employees in a precision electronic component manufacturing operation.
Ensures that process of all parts meet standards.
Trains, disciplines and monitors the ongoing performance of individual operators to ensure the maintenance of the highest levels of quality and production.
Plans and schedules workload to ensure smooth operations and the production of orders in the sequence assigned by the production scheduling department.
Expedites finished orders and the receipt of required materials whenever required to meet production schedules.
Create and Maintain a high engaged workforce to ensure high retention.
What you will bring along:
Two years’ experience in a manufacturing operation supervisory role is desirable.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
1-2 years’ experience supervising employees
