Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a 3rd shift QC Tester 2 responsible for Performs final electrical, visual and mechanical inspections and other tests on packaged networks.
Job Location:
Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away!
What you will be doing:
- Performs 100% initial and final readings on manual test system and/or automated test system(s)
- Responsible for related paperwork; checking travelers.
- Start test folders and assign test numbers where applicable
- Filling in electronic logs and other records of test completion.
- Reference part specification to check for visual and mechanical requirements. Verify these requirements using microscope and/or digital calipers, leads, package size, other critical parameters, and check for flaws in print and accuracy.
What you will bring along:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret production documents.
- Ability to read and write in order to read production documents and accurately record required information such as quantity produced and time.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in order to calculate production tallies.
- Eye-hand coordination and good manual dexterity in order to accurately process the small products manufactured.
- Basic computer skills required to be able to program test system and various electronic logs.
- Is qualified to perform multiple jobs and has responsibility for training other employees.
Pay Range:
- $16.50 - $18 per hour
