What are the responsibilities and job description for the Garden Associate (Part Time) position at Vision Ace Hardware?

Garden Associate responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for assisting customers with all of their shopping needs including assisting customers in the selection, demonstration, preparation, and loading of merchandise
- Assist in daily plant maintenance, watering, and restocking
- Assist with upkeep of the many display gardens on the property
- Operates small hand tools and equipment
- Have ability to lift heavy cartons from the floor to overhead racks
- Front and face merchandise on shelves as directed by their manager
The minimum physical requirements for this position include:
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time
- Bending, climbing, and twisting are routine; the position requires the ability to retrieve, stock, and move product
- Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds
