Job Summary:
Vision Ace Hardware is seeking a Retail Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to optimize store productivity and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage store operations, sales, and merchandising.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve issues.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize shrink.
- Oversee payroll, scheduling, and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain store safety, security, and appearance.
- Participate in local community engagement.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- Experience: 2-5 years of retail and management experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership, customer service, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Schedule: Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (average 45 hours per week).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to operate a POS system and handle merchandise.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
