What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office and Accounting Assistant position at Vision Air Services?
Vision Air Services, a locally owned and operated mechanical contracting company, is seeking a candidate that can help the administrative team take our accounting and administrative processes to the next level. This candidate will be able to communicate well with direct reports and top management, be detail oriented, work well in an office environment, and is computer efficient. Candidates with experience in bookkeeping, construction accounting, data entry or office administration are encouraged to apply. Sage 100 Contractor experience is a plus!
-Accounts Payable such as entering and coding invoices in Sage 100 Contractor
-Accounts Receivables
-Entering and vetting employees hours for payroll
-Assist project managers with clerical work and warranty processing
-Filing documents and creating digital copies to be stored in an organized file structure
-Monitoring email accounts and redirect emails as needed
-Assist with vendor communication and fulfillment of their requirements (waivers, affidavits, etc)
-Order office and breakroom supplies
-Support management team with process improvement efforts
- HR assistance with employee onboarding and benefits management
Experience
- Data entry, 1 year (preferred)
- Basic accounting, 1 year (preferred)
- Sage 100 Contractor, 1 year (preferred)
- Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word), 3 years (required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
