Pay Rate:
- Hourly Rate: $66/hr.
- Weekly Gross: $2,640
- Non-Taxable Pay: $33.43/hr. | $1,337 weekly
- Taxable Pay (W2): $32.58/hr. | $1,303 weekly
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lab Technician for a 13-week travel contract in Johnson City, NY. Candidates must be NYS Certified Clinical Laboratory Technicians with at least one year of clinical laboratory experience. This position is for the night shift and guarantees 40 hours per week.
Important Notes:
- MED LAB TECHs will not be considered.
- Local candidates (within 50 miles) are accepted at a local rate.
- Start Date: June 2, 2025
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized testing in clinical or pathology lab sections.
- Prioritize STAT and time-sensitive testing.
- Adhere to all hospital, departmental, and regulatory policies including those from UHS, NYSDOH, CDC, and Infection Control standards.
- Operate under the supervision of the section supervisor.
Requirements:
- NYS Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Technician
- Associate degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on clinical lab experience
- Availability for night shifts
