We are seeking a dedicated Lens Inventory Assistant / Jobs Courier to join our Optical Lab team. This role involves final inspections, inventory management, assisting with receiving and stocking and supporting warehouse teams with counts. Responsibilities:
- Final Inspection: Conduct final inspections of optical jobs, ensuring they are cleaned, cased, and delivered to VCS Suite 102.
- Frame Retrieval: Retrieve "Patient Owned Frames" for tracing upon request from VCS Suite 102.
- Case Inventory Management: Maintain proper storage and inventory of cases, managing stock in warehouse storage for dispensing.
- Receiving Inventory: Assist in receiving vendor lens inventory and verifying quantities and types against packing slips.
- Stocking and Inventorying: Aid in stocking and inventorying lenses from vendors.
- Inventory Support: Support warehouse team in performing inventory and cycle counts.
- Picking and Assembling: Assist in picking lenses from inventory and assembling job trays for lab production.
- Learning Responsibilities: Learn primary lens inventory specialist responsibilities, including conducting weekly cycle counts and placing simple replenishment orders.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the optical warehouse and work area.
