Sales Representative
Vision executives are experts in international recruitment for the eyecare industry and we have partnered exclusively with a leading specialty contact lens manufacturer to find them a Sales Representative to operate in New York City, covering New York City, Connecticut and Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a key role in driving growth by building long-term business partnerships, educating eye care professionals on innovative products, organizing impactful seminars, and representing our brands at industry events. This role includes regular customer visits, field travel, and using your sales expertise to promote breakthrough solutions that transform patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Utilising a consultative selling approach to build and maintain long-term business partnerships with customers.
- Developing and adhering to a strategic call plan to ensure regular customer visits, aiming for a 4–12-week rotation.
- Educating and training optometrists and their staff to proficiently dispense key branded products.
- Organizing and conducting impactful account seminars for audiences of various sizes.
- Representing the company's brands at local, regional, and national trade shows.
- Logging key information into HubSpot CRM to support growth strategies and enhance customer insights.
- Participating in corporate training sessions, conference calls, and team meetings as required.
What we are looking for:
- A minimum of 2 years of direct sales experience, preferably in the eye care industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and sustain professional relationships.
- Proficiency in PC tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Physical ability to carry sample bags weighing at least 25 lbs.
- Willingness to spend significant time in the field, including 25%–50% overnight travel depending on geography.
- A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, access to a vehicle, and eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Previous experience selling to eye care professionals.
