PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT
Location: Travel throughout Northern WI/MN
Status: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive wage based on experience
The Project Superintendent manages all construction operations for multifamily projects valued at $10M to $50M . The ideal candidate will have experience leading projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, proficiency in construction methods, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes. Strong organizational, analytical, and collaborative skills are essential.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
· Regularly interact with local inspectors and city/county officials.
· Enforce site safety protocols and lead regular safety meetings.
· Ensure work performed aligns with contract specifications.
· Address and resolve daily field issues.
· Complete accurate job and progress reports, along with other project documentation.
· Oversee overall project success, including safety, profitability, schedule, and quality.
· Develop project schedules, sequence work, and implement recovery strategies to stay on track.
· Provide daily updates to the Project Manager regarding progress and performance.
· Maintain professional relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors.
Qualifications:
· Proficient in reading blueprints and construction drawings.
· Able to work in various weather conditions and travel 5-6 days/week.
· Strong knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles.
· Skilled in budgeting, scheduling, negotiating, and cost control.
· Familiar with contract and subcontract documents and terms.
· Excellent multitasking, time management, and organizational abilities.
· Strong leadership and management skills.
· Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
