Physicians Surgery Center is a lively and fast-paced ambulatory surgery center that specializes in providing patients with the latest in surgical options. We are currently looking for a caring and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to work in a fulfilling career in healthcare. Candidates with healthcare experience are preferred as this position.
You'll be a great fit if you find joy in:
- Answering phone calls from patients, referring doctors, and vendors in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Having face-to-face interactions with patients to verify demographic and health insurance information
- Updating data in an Electronic Health Record with accuracy and attention to detail
- Collecting payments of all types including cash, checks, and credit cards with professionalism and tact
- Prepping paperwork, mailings, and clerical duties
- Scheduling appointments and managing the office schedule
- Reconciling and processing Accounts Receivable in our Business Office

Requirements:
- Customer service experience
- Experience collecting payments
- Front Desk experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Have strong hospitality skills and exceptional patient care focus.
- Have an acute sense of attention to detail
- Be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and computer knowledge
- Enjoy working in a team environment.
