Job Description :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an overnight shift caretaker for a deaf and non-verbal individual. In this role, you will be responsible for providing care and support to the individual during the overnight hours, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. this shift is 9pm -5am Wednesday,Thursday, and Sunday weekly.
Responsibilities :
Provide overnight care and supervision for the individual
Assist with personal care tasks, redirection
Monitor the individual's health and well-being throughout the night
Assist with communication using sign language or other alternative methods
Maintain a safe and clean environment for the individual
Respond to any emergencies or issues that may arise during the night
Keep detailed records of care provided and any significant events
Qualifications :
Some experience working with individuals who are deaf and non-verbal preferred
Proficiency in sign language or willingness to learn
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations calmly
Reliable and punctual
Must be able to work overnight shifts
