As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with selecting eyewear, ensuring proper fit, and educating them on lens options. Your expertise in optical products and services will contribute to enhancing the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting eyewear that suits their prescription and style preferences
- Take accurate measurements for fitting eyeglasses and ensure proper alignment
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and enhancements
- Process orders for eyewear and maintain accurate customer records
- Conduct repairs and adjustments on eyeglasses as needed
- Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology
- Collaborate with the optometrist to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment

Experience:
- Proficiency in medical coding and terminology related to optical services
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Experience in retail sales, preferably in an optical setting
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures and insurance claims related to eyewear
- Ability to manage optical equipment and systems effectively
- Strong understanding of anatomy as it relates to eye care
- Prior experience in retail management is a plus
